1. Ad’s up Consulting, tool-based programmatic

A consultancy founded in Paris and a member of European Digital Group, Ad’s up Consulting has six offices, including Belgrade and Lausanne. Its programmatic offer, published under the name Display, relies on Google DV360, its “preferred platform”, on Amazon DSP and on The Trade Desk, and covers audio, DOOH and addressable TV on the TF1, M6 and France Télévisions channels. It is led by Davidson Li, partner and Head of Display and Social Ads.

The consultancy has built its own modules, including Attribution Wizard, an attribution and contribution algorithm, and Audience Selector. It publishes its prices (packages from 1,000 euros per month), organises private conferences with the platforms and states that in 2019 it was the first French consultancy to be 100% certified on Google Marketing Platform.

2. Gamned!, the long-standing trading desk

Founded in 2009 and based in Paris, Gamned! is a programmatic activation agency present in seven countries (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, the Czech Republic, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil). Bought from TF1 by the HLD fund in 2022, it is now joining the Biggie group. Its media trading team is led by Baptiste Pechery, head of media trading.

Gamned! operates on many platforms (Google DV360, Amazon DSP, Appnexus, Displayce…), in connected TV, DOOH and audio, with in-house predictive algorithms (GBO), a proprietary dynamic creative technology and named verification tools (Integral Ad Science, Adloox). It publishes quantified case studies, such as Clarins, whose cost per acquisition was divided by three, and a CTV offer available from 10,000 euros of investment.

3. Eskimoz, programmatic within a global offer

With offices in Paris, London, Milan, Madrid and Düsseldorf, Eskimoz includes programmatic in an offer ranging from SEO and GEO to paid search and paid social. Its campaigns cover display, video, mobile, audio, connected TV and DOOH, and are managed in its proprietary platform, the Eskimoz App. The programmatic team is led by Rémi Kerhoas, Performance Director.

The agency organises its own conferences (twelve in 2025) and has a 4.8 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot. Its programmatic page also presents its approach to brand safety.

4. Jellyfish, Tradelab’s heir

A subsidiary of The Brandtech Group present in 22 countries, Jellyfish absorbed the French trading desk Tradelab in 2020, which became Jellyfish France. Its display and programmatic offer relies on Display & Video 360 and Campaign Manager 360, and on platforms such as The Trade Desk and Xandr, across display, video, audio and connected TV. Thomas Allemand is its VP Adtech and Supply.

The agency publishes quantified case studies (Kiabi, Orange Pro) and organises its own events.

5. iProspect, the strength of the dentsu network

The media agency of the dentsu group, present in 93 countries, iProspect offers programmatic across connected TV, display, video, out-of-home and audio, backed by Merkury, the group’s proprietary identity tool. Its GEO offer (LLM Insights, LLM Feed) won awards in 2026 at the Open Garden Innovators.

The agency publishes quantified case studies. Its programmatic page presents the main DSPs on the market and its approach to brand safety.

6. Keyade, programmatic within the media offer

Part of the WPP group since 2014 and based in Levallois-Perret and Dubai, Keyade includes programmatic buying in a media offer that also covers paid search, social, SEO, affiliation and price comparison sites, with an advanced data offer (cookieless and server-to-server tracking). It publishes quantified case studies on search and social.

Understanding the programmatic market

Programmatic advertising automates the buying of ad space, in real time or through private deals, via buying platforms (DSPs). An agency brings three things: choosing and setting up the platforms, building audiences and controlling the quality of delivery.

Four trends matter when choosing an agency:

  • First-party data and contextual targeting are taking over from third-party cookie targeting, which browsers and regulation frame ever more strictly
  • Connected TV and audio open premium inventory bought programmatically
  • Digital out-of-home (DOOH) is now planned and measured like display
  • AI is used to optimise bids, audiences and creatives

What to check before signing

  • The platforms actually used, and who owns the accounts (the agency or the advertiser)
  • Financial transparency: media costs, technology fees and agency margin shown separately
  • Verification tools (brand safety, fraud, viewability) and their reports
  • Case studies with business results, on top of media metrics
  • The ability to activate connected TV, audio or DOOH if you need it

Ranking methodology

Each agency is assessed against the same eleven criteria, based on public information about it (its official website, its offer and case study pages, its legal notice, the trade press, the company register) and on reviews published on Google and Trustpilot, collected on 22 October 2026. The first three criteria are common to all Journal Marketing agency rankings; the other eight are chosen for this ranking, including the last four, specific to programmatic. The assessed scope is the agency’s own brand: the offers and events it publishes, including through its offices abroad, count; those of its group belong to a separate scope. Tradelab, listed in a previous version of this ranking, joined Jellyfish France in 2020: its business is assessed under the Jellyfish name.

Scoring grid. Each criterion is worth 1 point if it is met (Yes); all other criteria are marked N.A (not applicable, as the data was not found by the editorial team) and are worth 0 points. All criteria have the same weight, 1/11 of the overall score each. The position follows from the overall score. In case of a tie, the player benefiting from a sponsored feature, indicated in the article, comes first and holds its own rank alone; then the player with more points on the programmatic criteria, then alphabetical order. Among the other players, two players with the same overall score and the same points on the programmatic criteria are ranked as tied at the same rank, and this is shown next to their rank.

How our rankings are established

Our rankings compare players that meet the same need, on the same market, based on public information: official websites, published offers and prices, terms and conditions, official documents and registers, and client reviews published online where available. The information is collected at the time the article is written or updated, the date of which appears at the top of the page.

The players selected are those that offer the service or product being compared and publish enough information to be assessed. Our rankings do not claim to be exhaustive. Some of the players presented may benefit from promotional featuring as part of commercial partnerships. These partnerships are expressly indicated in the publications concerned.

Each player is assessed against the same criteria: the scope of the offer and how well it matches the need, the verifiable characteristics of the service or product, price and terms where published, the support provided, the transparency of the information provided and, where they exist, client reviews published on third-party platforms. Each criterion is scored on the basis of information published by the player itself or by its clients, and the position in the ranking follows from the overall score obtained. When the editorial team could not find the information needed to score a criterion, it is marked N.A (not applicable, as the data was not found by the editorial team) and scores no points. A summary table presents the main criteria used and the assessment results for each company.
